The Fight Against Facilitation Payments Initiative (FAFPI)
Who are We?
We are an international nonprofit association that believes a world free from facilitation payments is both possible and necessary for ethical, compliant global systems.
That’s why FAFPI exists: to fight against facilitation payments worldwide.
We achieve this through collaborative, cross-sector action—gathering data, sharing knowledge, raising awareness, and uniting key stakeholders in pursuit of lasting change.
FAFPI’s Pillars, Mission and Vision
These elements form the framework that guides FAFPI’s efforts to fight against facilitation payments across organisations.
FAFPI’s Two Pillars
FAFPI is supported by two pillars:
FAFPI’s Mission & Vision
Vision
Be the flagship initiative contributing to a world without facilitation payments – where organisations, society, and individuals no longer bear the cost of this corrupt practice.
Mission
Gather data, gain knowledge, and increase awareness by bringing toghether key stakeholders in collective action.
Funders
FAFPI’s funding structure comprises three key pillars:
- Membership fees
- Corporate partnerships
- Programme-based funding.
The cornerstone of FAFPI’s financial sustainability is its membership funding. Annual fees from members serve as the primary and most reliable source of income, ensuring the organisation’s independence and long-term viability.
Complementing this are corporate partnerships and targeted funding programmes, which enable FAFPI to broaden its impact through both short- and long-term initiatives.
These additional sources strengthen our capacity to fight facilitation payments and expand our reach globally.
FAFPI is an independent organisation and does not support any particular organisation, government, or political party. Our work is guided exclusively by our commitment to fighting against facilitation payments.
